WORKFLOW GUIDE
From construction handover to building operation
On handover day the building receives a pile of drawings, manuals and certificates. If that information stays scattered, the first operating problem arrives without support. Umbral organizes it around each piece of equipment.
Register the assets
Equipment is entered one by one or from the spreadsheet the contractor provides. Each asset can keep the identifier of its element in the BIM model.
Complete the records
Each asset category has a list of what is expected: manuals, test reports, certificates. Umbral shows what is missing and keeps every revision with its fingerprint.
Schedule maintenance
Plans define what is done and how often. Before each due date a work order is created with its checklist; expiring warranties appear in the daily view.
Close handover
When the team decides to receive the building, an uneditable baseline is saved: documents with their fingerprint, accepted gaps and who received it. From there, the building operates.
